My name is Dan Jenkins. I’m a young professional who has explored a variety of fields and excelled in each of them in unique ways - be it content marketing, event planning, project management, or retail leadership.

Myers Briggs (MBTI)/16 Personalities: INFP (The Mediator)

Enneagram: Type 4, Wing 3

I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media in 2015. Since then, I’ve cultivated my talents creating a variety of well-performing, professionally-designed content. In recent years, I’ve pivoted into retail while keeping an eye out for potential roles that would bring me back into corporate work.

What have I been doing recently?

Starbucks

Following the downsizing of my last marketing role, and after a different contract position, I’ve been employed with Starbucks since November 2023; I promoted to a shift supervisor in August 2025. What started as a stop-gap barista job has turned into a unique, exciting chapter of my career.

I became a barista trainer and moved a total of eight new baristas and shift supervisors through the corporate-design training program. I attained coffee master status by sampling all of Starbucks’s regular and seasonal blends, educated my peers on the differences and intricacies of coffee, and had the chance to visit Hacienda Alsacia, Starbucks’s leading coffee farm, in Costa Rica in February 2026. That’s me planting a coffee tree to the left of this block!

I’ve aided two different stores in significant growth in customer satisfaction, as well as health inspection safety scores. My last store’s EcoSure inspection score grew from an 81 in 2025, to a 92 in 2026 when I was present for it! I’ve led floors with anywhere from two to six different baristas across age groups, gender identities, and life experiences while generating $4,000 to $7,000 in daily revenue.

Where have I been before?

ECSI

Managed the Perkins Loan Assignment/Liquidation processes on the Implementation team and oversaw YOY revenue growth; transitioned to the Marketing team and creating engaging content as the Marketing Content Specialist. In that role, ensured further YOY growth in closed-won sales attributed to marketing activity-generated leads, largely through email marketing campaigns I composed and executed.

I’m looking for a new role in one of the realms of project management, account management, content or email marketing. I’m incredibly adaptable and love having the chance to explore a new industry. I bloom wherever I’m planted and would love the chance to grow further with your organization.
